Shane C. Percival

Shane is an associate of Neugeboren O’Dowd PC and joined the firm in July 2008. Prior to joining the firm Shane was a patent attorney with Leyendecker & Lemire in Denver Colorado. Shane is a patent attorney licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is licensed to practice law in Colorado. Prior to becoming an attorney, Shane worked as an engineer for Sony Corporation where he was closely involved in the development and integration of high-end consumer electronics and videoconferencing software. Shane also worked as a network engineer for PacketVideo Corporation in San Diego where he designed software and hardware for the wireless telecommunications and satellite industries, including 3G video streaming software for cellular and network providers. Shane received his J.D. from The University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2006 and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado School of Engineering (Boulder) in 1996. While at the University of Denver, Shane was a senior editor on the University of Denver Law Review and was a Moot Court Board member.

Neugeboren O'Dowd PC – Steve Gruber Joins the Firm as an Associate

May 1, 2011 – We are excited to announce that effective May 1, 2011 Steve Gruber has joined the firm as an associate attorney.

Prior to joining the Firm, Steve was a Patent Agent with several firms in the Denver area. Steve’s practice focuses on turning ideas into assets via strategic patent portfolio development and trademark prosecution, with emphasis in electronics, physics, software, and the mechanical arts. He has counseled clients in a wide range of technical disciplines that include telecommunications, power electronics, electronic device physics, RF power sources, photovoltaic power systems and thermal transfer, computer architecture, wafer processing, plasma deposition, induction motors, phase change materials, medical devices, and business methods and software.

Steve earned degrees in Physics/Engineering and History at Dartmouth where he graduated in 2005, and received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2007.
