Vanessa Otero is an associate with Neugeboren O’Dowd PC. She is a patent attorney admitted to practice in Colorado and the United States Patent and Trademark office.
Vanessa’s practice focuses on patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, and IP counseling.
Vanessa graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2013. While at the University of Denver, Vanessa served as the Vice-President of the Intellectual Property Law Society, participated in several moot court competitions, and authored a research article entitled “How Much is Really at Stake? Damages Statutes Collide in Multiple-IP Litigation.”
Prior to joining Neugeboren O’Dowd, Vanessa had a career in business-to-business and pharmaceutical sales, most recently with Meda Pharmaceuticals. During her sales career, she gained experience working with entrepreneurs and professionals in a wide range of industries, and that experience led to her passion for intellectual property law.
Vanessa graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a B.A. in English and a focus on biology, chemistry, and physics coursework. She is originally from San Diego, CA.
